The Los Angeles, CA agency has officially released the identities of all nine victims of the helicopter crash that also killed basketball legend Kobe Bryant (1978-2020). The analysis of fingerprints has confirmed, among other things, the sad news that Bryant's daughter Gianna (2006-2020) is also one of the fatalities.
Four other families were destroyed in the tragedy: Sarah Chester and daughter Payton Chester died in the accident. In addition to basketball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri and one of his three children, Alyssa, were also on board. Both Payton and Alyssa were basketball players from Bryant's daughter Gianna. The other two victims are basketball coach Christina Mauser and helicopter pilot Ara Zobayan.
Impact injuries were confirmed as the cause of death in all nine deceased. Los Angeles County also announced that the crash on Sunday (January 26) was officially an accident.
