Basketball star Kobe Bryant would have celebrated his 43rd birthday on August 23. His wife Vanessa congratulates him on his special day.
Kobe Bryant (1978-2020) would have turned 43 on Monday (23 August). The professional basketball player and his daughter Gianna (2006-2020) were killed in a helicopter crash in January 2020. His widow Vanessa Bryant (39) congratulated him on his special day with a heartfelt kiss photo. “Happy birthday, papi,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you forever. Eternal love.” Numerous stars showed their sympathy under the post. Among others, the models Lily Aldridge (35) and Gigi Hadid (26), reality TV star Khloé Kardashian (37) and basketball player Candace Parker (35) commented with heart emojis.
Daughter Natalia (18) also sent her father congratulations. “Happy birthday, Daddy,” she congratulated Kobe Bryant under a photo on InstagramShowing him smiling broadly with his toddler daughter on his lap.

Author and actress Mindy Kaling (42) also reminded of the basketball star. “Happy birthday, Kobe,” she wrote. “I am reminded of your influence every day. For example, here is a picture of my daughter at the ballet when she refused to take off your leotard and wear her leotard and tutu.” She also posted a photo of little Katherine, who was born in 2017. She sits on the floor with her back to the camera, wearing Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers jersey number 24.
Singer Ciara (35) also shared an Instagram post and congratulated Kobe Bryant. “I celebrate you every day,” she said of a photo showing Bryant in awe of victory at a Los Angeles Lakers game. “I am grateful for the inspiration you continue to give us.” Bryant is “forever in our hearts”. To do this, she set hashtags with the numbers 8 and 24, the jersey numbers of the basketball star.

His former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, also paid tribute to the deceased athlete on Twitter with numerous photos and videos. “Black Mamba. Hall of Famer. Girl Dad. Happy Birthday, Kobe,” it says in a tweet.
Kobe Bryant played his entire professional career from 1996 to 2016 for the Los Angeles Lakers and is considered one of the best basketball players of all time. Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people were killed in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles on January 26, 2020.
