SNK revealed all the new things coming to King of Fighters XV: the return of Omega Rugal, a Boss Challenge mode and DLC dates for Team Pass.
While the new SNK’s fighting game The King of Fighters 15 has unveiled its first fighters DLC with Team Garou a few days ago, a new character is already arriving in the game’s roster: Omega Rugal. On the occasion of the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable broadcast this night, the publisher announced this free addition to the long list of fighters.
The character will be available from April 14l and will mark the return of Rugal Bernstein, the final boss of the games in 1995, 1998 and 2002. He had not appeared in the series since that time, even if he had made inroads in spin-offs or in the KoF All-Star mobile game. On the same date, a Boss Challenge will also be added, obviously with Rugal as the first opponent.
Finally, the Team South Town, the second DLC announced in Team Pass 1, will arrive next Maybefore the launch of Team Pass 2 in the summer of 2022.
