Koh-Lanta: 2 days of orientation test, the worst final in the game

Every year in Koh Lanta, the ultimate goal of the adventurers is to reach the end of the program. Before that, they must survive in the camp for more than a month, without having enough to eat and with the most basic comfort possible. More so, Robinson apprentices have physical hardships. This is how they compete in the orienteering race, during which only three daggers are to be found across a vast island for five participants. This mythical stage of the game has been marked by various changes over the seasons, especially when one year it lasted… two days!

It was in 2007, during the filming of Koh Lanta Palawan. Kevin, Jade, Maryline and Simon – there were four of them competing at the time – discovered the rules: run to the end of the beach to discover a map and a compass before finding one of the four markers around which a totem showed them the distance and direction to take to find their conch, the grail. If Kevin and Jade managed to qualify, their comrades struggled. So much so that after 5h30 of research, the production made the decision to take a break for the night and resume orienteering the following day. Back on the beach facing Denis Brogniart, the duo resumed the event. Fresher and with clear ideas, Maryline found her dagger a few minutes after kick-off and then qualified for the posts.

If Maryline holds the record for duration after two days of ordeal, during the following season, an adventurer won the game hands down! Indeed, in 2008, Frédéric managed to get his ticket for the rest of the adventure in just twenty minutes! After him is Pascal, an adventurer seen in 2016 in Koh Lantawho holds the second place in the ranking since he brandished his dagger after thirty-three minutes of research.

It remains to be seen whether Bastien, Jean-Charles, Géraldine, Ambre or François will take their place among these records for the fastest and the slowest on Tuesday June 14, 2022 in Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Totem on TF1!
