During the first episode of the new season of Koh-Lanta, the secret weapons, the viewers did not have time to be bored ! Broadcast on TF1 since Friday March 12, 2021, this twenty-second season has started strong, with already a large number of adventures for our candidates. Koh Lanta 2021 has come back to basics, and it is therefore twenty adventurers (ten men for ten women) divided into two teams who will compete against each other to be the last on the island. It was on the islands of French Polynesia that the very first event of the game took place, at the end of which the two winning pairs were tasked by Denis Brogniart to each compose their own team. Hervé and Candice are therefore the captains of the red tribe, the Oro, and Laetitia and Aurélien from the yellow tribe, the Toa. It was as a team that they faced the rest of the game … and their first immunity test. As a reminder, the team that loses this event must already eliminate an adventurer! After the reds won, it was the yellows who had to part ways with Sylviane … But this is not the only blow for the team, since they also had an injured person.
A very painful fall for Elodie
It was indeed of a balancing act during which they had to cross beams and platforms, without falling into the water, to reach the last beam and hold on to ten for five seconds. But crossing a beam, Elodie, a 35-year-old sports coach, had a very bad fall, directly falling one leg on each side. At the sight of the images, one can imagine the terrible pain that the candidate suffered! Elodie thus had to be evacuated from the game with the help of her compassionate comrades. On Twitter, Internet users were shocked by this fall: "Traumatized for life by Elodie's fall in Koh Lanta","Frankly when Elodie fell on the beam I was going to die", or "Elodie's fall in Koh Lanta I'm still in pain", we can read. Denis Brogniart had to interrupt the test to have the young woman examined, in tears : "Why ? Why ? I am scared !She panicked. The game finally resumed without the adventurer, but luckily Elodie was able to reintroduce the adventure later, without any consequences.
