Indeed, last week, after an explosive council meeting, two candidates were eliminated during the week of linked destinies: Sébastien and Aurélien. Now, it’s time for the twelfth episode this Tuesday, May 7, 2024, also marked by a departure from the board but not only that: another apprentice Robinson leaves the game due to injury.
Koh-Lanta 2024: Who won the comfort game?
The two eliminated arrive at the residence of the final jury and unpack everything to the other members Océane, Léa and Cécile. At the camp, after the council the day before during which Aurélien and Sébastien revealed the secret alliance of Meïssa and Amri, the atmosphere is tense at the camp. And it’s not getting better since not everyone agrees on the meal: rice or not, what quantity… Finally, the pan tips over and extinguishes the fire at the same time !
Head for the comfort game. Denis Brogniart explains the rules: the adventurers must lie down horizontally under a grate, with their faces stuck between two bars. The goal is to hold as long as possible in this position knowing that the grid will gradually descend to get closer to the surface of the water. As the event becomes more and more difficult, the final sprint is between Amri and Mégane. And victory is finally for Amri !
The winner receives a clue to find an immunity necklace. Also, he will benefit from the following superb reward: one night in a luxury hotel with sumptuous swimming pool, 5-star room with comfortable bed, a bathroom with shower and all the necessary hygiene items as well as a full dinner. The little extra: the clothes are also washed! Amri chooses to share this reward with Léa.
The duo enjoys their dream comfort while at the camp their comrades make do with what they have: Julie offers a breakfast made from sugar cane and even finds a way to do a makeshift laundry. Jean suffers more than ever from hunger. “It’s more than torture“, he confides before appearing with tears in his eyes.
Koh-Lanta 2024: A departure due to injury
While Amri retrieved his immunity necklace hidden in a chest, John gets injured ! His hand is bleeding but especially his ankle is swollen. He tells his comrades that he has suffered a sprain: “I wallowed in the woods.“And to explain on camera:”As I am physically weak, I do stupid things. I hit myself with a machete and broke my face in the rocks.“
The doctors arrive. They put a stitch on Jean’s finger (not without difficulty, since he cried out in pain) and put a splint on his ankle. He must not put his foot on the ground until the next morning. After a catastrophic night under storms and before the immunity test, the doctors returned to check Jean’s condition. “Unfortunately, the doctor considers that you cannot continue the adventure“, announces Denis Brogniart. The verdict is in: Jean is eliminated.
