As the new season of Koh-Lanta prepares to arrive on February 13, Télé Star invites you to discover the portrait of Jean, a Norman carpenter, cut out for the TF1 adventure game.
The new season of Koh-Lanta, called The Immunity Hunters, will be back on TF1 on February 13. Filmed again in the Philippines, the game, presented by Denis Brogniart, will reveal 20 new candidates (10 men and 10 women) who will compete in a hunt for immunity necklaces. “These necklaces will be hidden everywhere. On the camps, obviously, but not only. Throughout the adventure, necklaces can be found. It’s a kind of treasure hunt with different ways, each time, of following the trail towards a necklace.”, explained Julien Magne, director of ALP which produces the show, during a press conference held on January 8 in Paris. In fact, there will be more necklaces than in previous editions.
Among the candidates for this new season: Jean. This Norman is 26 years old. His physique will impress more than one. Beneath his good nature, he could hide a formidable mind and above all the physique of a colossus! Jean is a carpenter. It was at the age of 14 that he discovered this vocation. Father of a two-year-old boy, he went through the companions of duty, a demanding training course which allowed him to learn ancestral techniques which could serve him well on an isolated island. Thanks to his adventure in Koh-Lanta, Jean intends to “take a big breath of oxygen to come back stronger”, he explained. He will be in competition in particular with another carpenter, Sebastianoriginally from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

On Instagram, in his presentation clip, Internet users discover him several meters high. The young man explains “love versatile work, strength, balance and height which can bring adrenaline”. His profession could prove to be an asset in Koh-Lanta. “When you’re a carpenter, on the roofs, it’s the test of the posts every day!“, he laughs. Aware of his physical and mental qualitiesJohn wants “go far without betraying yourself”. His objective remains that of reaching the legendary pole test, so feared and so coveted.
