On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the launch of Koh Lanta on the TF1 antenna, the company Adventure Line Productions, which produces the program for the first channel, decided to set up a new all-stars edition, which will bring together some of the show’s most iconic adventurers. In total, this new season will include 24 candidates, including 4 reservists, who have already flown to French Polynesia, in order to begin filming the program, which recently sparked controversy. Among these former adventurers, only 6 have already won the adventure game presented by Denis Brogniart as revealed TV Magazine on April 10, 2021, which published the names of all the candidates for this all-star edition.
On the women’s side, viewers will be able to find Clémence Castel, who is the only candidate in the history of Koh Lanta has won the game twice. She will be accompanied by Alexandra Pornet, winner of season 21 in 2020, Christelle Gauzet, winner of season 8 in 2008, but also by Jade Handi, last survivor of season 7 in 2007. Among the other former adventurers of the program to try again their luck, the production selected Coumba Baradji, eliminated at the orientation of the “Clash of Heroes” in 2010 and “Revenge of the Heroes” in 2012, Karima Najjarine, member of the final jury for season 15 in 2016, Candice Boisson, member of the final jury for season 16 in 2016 and “Fight of the heroes” in 2018, Clémentine Jullien, finalist for season 17 in 2017, Cindy Poumeyrol, finalist for season 20 in 2019, and Alix Noblat, member of the final jury for season 21 in 2020. For her part, Béatrice Kaboré, member of the jury season 20 finale in 2019, was selected to be a reservist.
Koh Lanta : Teheiura, Claude and Freddy back
On the men’s side, only two former winners were retained by the production of the show. They are Ugo Lartiche, winner of season 12 in 2012, and Laurent Maistret, winner of “The New Edition” in 2014. At their side, viewers of TF1 will be able to find Patrick Merle, finalist of season 9 in 2009, Freddy Boucher, finalist of “Clash of Heroes” in 2010, Claude Dartois, finalist of season 10 in 2010 and of “The Heroes’ Revenge” in 2012, Teheiura Teahui, finalist of season 11 in 2011, Philippe Bizet, eliminated at the posts in 2014 in “The New Edition”, Namadia, member of the final jury of season 12 in 2012, Maxime Berthon, member of the final jury of season 20 in 2019, and Sam Haliti, member of the final jury of “The Island of Heroes” in 2020. In addition, the program in which singer Sheila dreams of participating will be able to count on Sandro Gonzalez Schenan, member of the final jury for season 17 in 2017, and Loïc Riowal, eliminated at the post test for season 21 in 2020 , as reservists.
