(CercleFinance.com) – Kone announces that it has won an order to provide a suite of people flow solutions for 2 Trafalgar Way in Tower Hamlets, Greater London.
The development is part of a mixed-use student accommodation complex located on the edge of the Canary Wharf business district.
Kone will install seven JumpLift 200 elevators to improve construction efficiency.
The order also includes six accessibility platforms, five construction time utilization (CTU) elevators, five Kone MiniSpace elevators, eight Kone MonoSpace 700 elevators and two Kone MonoSpace 500 elevators. All elevators will be equipped with the Kone Destination Control (DCS).
The elevator experience in student-run housing will be enhanced by Kone Elevator Call, allowing passengers to call the elevator with their smartphone.
2 Trafalgar Way is expected to open for the 2026/27 academic year.
