This brazen hoax went really wrong! Two Swiss people tried their luck on Thursday in two pharmacies in Konstanz (D), near the Swiss border. With forged vaccination cards, they wanted to get a digital certificate.
The first fraudster (44) entered a pharmacy in the old town around 11.45 a.m. He presented a vaccination card. But the employees were puzzled. Because: Apart from the alleged corona vaccination, there was nothing in the ID. “In addition, there was no plausible explanation why the Swiss citizen was vaccinated in Munich,” as the German police wrote in a statement.
Pharmacist called the police
Then the second attempt in the afternoon. This time another Swiss (51) presented a forged vaccination card in another pharmacy. The 51-year-old wanted to have a digital certificate issued.
But the employee refused and instead notified the police. Because the nature of the entries and the fact that the man has his normal place of residence in Switzerland made the pharmacist suspicious. And it turned out that this vaccination card was also forged.
The Swiss are now being investigated for forgery of documents. (jmh)
