Konyks launches Senso Charge, the detection sensor with long battery life

Konyks is a specialist in connected objects. After marketing electrical outlets, surveillance cameras and even connected switches, the young French shoot is launching a door opening and closing detector. Called Senso Charge, this sensor sticks, thanks to adhesive strips, at the door opening. Thus, the owner of the Senso Charge is informed on his smartphone, through the Konyks application, of any openings or closings of doors.

This sensor operates on a USB rechargeable battery whose autonomy is supposed to reach one year. A light signal should tell its owner that the battery is low and it’s time to recharge the sensor. Unlike TP-Link sensors, there is no need here to use a central hub to notify the user when the sensor is triggered.

It is of course possible to script actions by combining the sensor with Antalya bulbs or Priska sockets from the same manufacturer. In this case, you can ask for the light to come on when the front door opens or for the heating to turn off once the door is closed. In short, the scenarios are multiple!

This opening detector is already available on the manufacturer’s website and at certain e-merchants for the price of €19.90.
