Korian: 54% drop in net income group share in 2022


(CercleFinance.com) – Korian publishes revenue of 4,534 ME for the 2022 financial year, representing organic growth of 6.2% compared to the previous financial year.

In organic terms, business grew both in France, Spain and the United Kingdom (+4.4%) and in Germany (+5.6%), Benelux (+14%) and Italy (+6 .4%).

EBITDA amounted to 607 ME, up 1.6%, while net income group share amounted to 52 million euros, down 54% compared to the same period twelve months earlier.

“We are having a solid 2022 financial year, marked by record organic growth and an operating model that demonstrates its resilience in an environment of high inflation,” comments Sophie Boissard, CEO of Korian.

The group also indicates that at the end of December 2022, its network included 87,994 beds, after the sale of 69 establishments in the last 24 months. Over the past two years, the Group has also delivered approximately 3,500 beds through greenfield developments.

The figures quoted above are expressed in pre IFRS-16 data.
