The Green Knight – Monday January 3
Good news for fans of the Arthurian legend. To start this new year on the best of auspices, Prime Video lifts the veil on The Green Knight. Directed by David Lowery (A Ghost Story, The Old Man and the Gun), this fantasy film focuses on the adventures of the Knights of the Round Table, and more specifically those of Gauvain.
Responding to Sir Gawain’s name in the feature film and not having much in common with the hilarious character of Kaamelott, the hero is played by Dev Patel. He shares the bill with Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury and Barry Keoghan.
Spencer – Monday January 17
Much awaited by the public since the announcement of its shooting, the biopic on Lady Diana will finally be unveiled on Prime Video, from January 17. Entitled Spencer, he immerses us in 1991, during the holidays between the princess and the royal family, when the latter decides to divorce Prince Charles.
Worn by Kristen Stewart in the title role of Diana Spencer, this feature film, already released in the United Kingdom, is one of the favorites in the race for the Oscars 2022. At the helm, we find Pablo Larraín, director who we owes the biographical films Neruda (on Pablo Neruda) and Jackie (on Jackie Kennedy).
