Kristen Stewart is in front of the camera for "Spencer". In the film, she embodies Lady Di – and almost perfectly matches her signature look.

Kristen Stewart (30, "Twilight – Biss zum Dawn") is currently in front of the camera for the film "Spencer", in which she takes on the leading role of the late Princess Diana (1961-1997). A first set picture, which was published in January, already suggested that Stewart will succeed in the optical transformation into the queen of hearts. The latest photos from the shooting in Germany, which are available to the British "Daily Mail", confirm this once again: the actress reminds of a certain appearance by the princess with her look.

On the set in Dülmen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Stewart showed himself in a classic tartan-style tweed blazer, which made for an eye-catcher in the colors red, green and blue. Princess Diana wore a similar model when visiting Portsmouth in January 1989. As with the mother of Prince Harry (36) and Prince William (38), the actress had a cream-colored top with a turtleneck underneath.

Unusual shoe choice

The "Twilight" star also wore a black pencil skirt and black tights and completed the look with dark sunglasses. The typical Diana hair dryer wave should also not be missing from the roll. Only one detail of the look didn't quite fit into the picture: Stewart wore black Adidas sneakers with her elegant outfit. A set photo shows that this was possibly due to practical reasons: The actress had to get behind the wheel of a convertible.

"Jackie" director Pablo Larraín (44) realizes the "Spencer" script by Steven Knight (62), which focuses on the fateful Christmas days of the princess on the Sandringham estate. The other cast includes Timothy Spall (63, "Verwünscht"), Sally Hawkins (44, "The Shape of Water") and Sean Harris (55, "Mission: Impossible").
