Kristen Wiig: is the actress mother of twins?

Actress Kristen Wiig (46, "Bride Alert") and her partner, the actor and director Avi Rothman, are said to have their hands full at home. A couple of months ago the couple are said to have become twins' parents, as an unnamed insider told the US magazine "People". The children are said to have been commissioned by a surrogate mother. Pictures from the British "Daily Mail" show the small family on a walk. Wiig and Rothman have not yet made any public statements about this. The couple have been engaged since 2019, and they would be the first offspring for both.

Had Wiig already messed up?

The actress and the director usually keep private matters out of the public eye. In May of this year, however, Wiig seemed to have given a first hint of her new motherhood. In a guest contribution for the US show "Saturday Night Life", in which she herself was an active participant from 2005 to 2012, she expressed her thanks on the occasion of Mother's Day.

"I don't know if I really appreciated my mother in the first 45 years of my life," said the actress in a video clip recorded at home. "But this year I am especially grateful for her advice and love. I am so grateful for all the things she taught me, such as preparing me to be a mother myself."
