The British-French actress Kristin Scott Thomas (60, "The Horse Whisperer") apparently has a thing for social media. She keeps her fans up to date on her Instagram account and regularly posts new pictures. However, she has shut down her activities a little, as she said in an interview with the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung". "At the beginning I was pretty enthusiastic. Now, I'm not really excited anymore," says the 60-year-old.
"I like to show people things that I find special or strange," explains Scott Thomas. "But at some point I realized that I had dealt with it far too often and in detail." That triggered strange feelings in her. "I started comparing things, according to the motto: The others have a much nicer vacation than me," notes the actress with a laugh.
One moment was always particularly depressing for her: "When I posted something that was really important to me and didn't get any likes for it. There were a lot of likes for some idiotic picture that made me grimacing." However, every Instagram user would probably know this frustration. She currently has over 71,000 followers on Instagram. "At first I wanted to see if I could get 1,000 followers and then stop. But as you can see, I'm still there."
