On the 15th, 16th On July 22nd and 22nd, thousands of amateur and professional athletes start their journey to the Styrian pyramid in Eisenerz, when the “Krone” Erzberg Adventure Days once again say “Feel the mountain”. The Styrian Pyramid, as the mountain is also called, only opens its doors once a year and at no other running event in the country can athletes expect such spectacular impressions. The “Vertical Iron Sprint” will take place on the starting day (July 15th). With a length of only 180 meters, the legendary water pipe has a vertical drop of 92 meters and a gradient of 97%! The winning time for the men is 1:50 minutes and for the women 2:42 minutes. It gets dirty on the first weekend! On July 16, it will be 16, 24 and even 40 kilometers. There are up to 60 spectacular obstacles to overcome. Anyone who now thinks that this is only something for hardened men is very wrong, the proportion of women in these competitions is already 45%!
