After a semi-redesign last year, it is more than interesting to watch for Kwismas Island on Dofus with its return in 2023. As a bonus, you can now even leave with the very first Montilier Pods in the game!
DOFUS: Closing and opening dates for Kwismas Island 2023
Kwismas Island will open on December 5, 2023 and will close the Tuesday January 2 2024. This action will be carried out during maintenance. Unlike previous years, Kwismas quests no longer automatically reset when you enter the island. You will therefore be able to farm freely without seeing your journal fill up unexpectedly.
What to do on the island in Dofus?
Regular events on Dofus are a central point between or during updates. Indeed, they provide additional content, limited in time and very different from what can usually be done. On Kwismas Islandyou will be able to find:
- New 2023
- A new mount offering 200 pods (compared to 200 chocolate kamas)
- The overhaul of the sets makes Father Fwetar’s set very interesting with its new AP bonus. Don’t hesitate to farm the patterns in the store.
- Alterations in the Kwismas store to increase your loot
- Dungeons : One of level 50, 100 and 190. They are not very difficult and provide easy success points.
- Collect gifts : You can collect very special loot from all the monsters in Kwismas. By opening these packages, you will obtain random resources, sometimes worth quite a few kamas. Gifts obtained from Bosses and achievements give better rewards. Since 2022, their profitability has been increased (scrolls, horns of Volkorne, etc.). The full list is available here.
- Successes : There are a lot of them. Simply increase your meter by consuming candies, opening gifts and doing quests! Be careful, the quests from each year do not accumulate in the counter!
- Quests : Since 2018, a new series of quests has appeared alongside the existing one. It unlocks access to craftable ceremonial items and a new ornament.
- Repeatable activities (kamas) : Collecting chestnuts and beating grumps pays off!
- MiniBoss, Gronchon and Minotoboule : These are unique monsters roaming respectively on the island of Kwismas and in the Ice Fields of Frigost. For your success, you will have to do a challenge against them, and for the Minotoboule, face it at its levels 1000, 1100 and 1200 to obtain 3 ceremonial shields.
In short, whether you are there for the achievements, the dungeons or the kamas, Kwismas Island is a December must-have ! Unless you don’t want to fill your quest journal…
Kwismas Island…and then on Dofus?
Dungeon rushers take place every year on Kwismas Island, depending on the dungeon, before it closes and makes way for Was Cakes. However, the island is always a good excuse to pick up Dofus during the holidays and focus on its recent major update, 2.70.
