Kylie Jenner and her famous family members like to present themselves impeccably in public, so it’s all the more surprising when the mom of two opens up about her postpartum depression.

Kylie Jenner, 25, is already the mother of two children: Stormi Webster is now five years old and little Aire Webster just celebrated his first birthday. But as nice as being a mom is for Kim Kardashian’s 42-year-old stepsister, the beginnings were difficult – after both deliveries, Kylie suffered from postpartum depression.

Kylie Jenner suffered from postpartum depression

In an interview with the Italian “Vanity Fair” she speaks openly and honestly about the difficult start in life as a mother. Many women are moved by the topic, which unfortunately is still stigmatized. It is all the more important that a celebrated star who can afford everything in the world communicates openly: Yes, I had it too! you are not alone And Kylie does. She shares her painful experiences with the world. “I experienced it. Twice. The first time was very difficult, the second time was easier to manage.” One must not forget that childbirth is not only physically demanding for a woman, but can also be a great mental challenge.

Kylie Jenner: Advice on postpartum depression

In the interview, Jenner also addressed mothers who have to go through the same thing: “I would advise women not to think too much and to live out all the emotions in this moment. Stay in this moment, even if it’s painful,” she said mom of two.

I know that in those moments you think that it will never end, that your body will never be the same, that you will never be the same again. That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions in this phase are much, much stronger and bigger than you. My advice is to experience this transition without fear of the consequences. The risk is missing out on all the beautiful things about motherhood, too.

Kylie Jenner has opened up about her postpartum depression

It was not the first time Kylie Jenner spoke about her postpartum depression in the interview. In 2022, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star revealed on Instagram that she suffered from postpartum depression after the birth of son Aire. “I was pressuring myself and I kept telling myself, ‘I’ve made a whole person, a beautiful, healthy boy,’ and we’ve got to stop pressuring ourselves to be back, not even physically, just mentally after the birth,” she said at the time.

An important message that her female fans in particular need to hear, who have just become mothers themselves or who wish to have a child. Because you should just know that the time after the birth can be wonderful, but also mentally very stressful. If it’s challenging, at least knowing you’re not alone is incredibly helpful. Postpartum depression shouldn’t be a taboo subject, and stars like Kylie Jenner are helping fight the stigma by being honest about it.
