This Wednesday, September 14, France 5 will broadcast a new issue of La Grande bookstore. Télé Star invites you to discover who will be the four guests received this week by Augustin Trapenard.
After a successful premiere, Augustin Trapenard is back this Wednesday, September 14 for a new issue of the new season of The Great Library, on France 5. And as in each issue, the host will invite authors from different universes who make literary news. And this week, parity will be respected because he will receive two men and two women.
The first guest will be Leonora Mionafor his book stardust (ed. Grasset), in which she recounts her life with her daughter in a reintegration and emergency accommodation center in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The second author will be Alain Mabackou for The Trade of the Elongated (ed. du Seuil) where the author imagines the last hours of a young man in Congo-Brazzaville, who attends his own four-day funeral wake and his burial before emerging from his grave with a mission.
Augustin Trapenard will also receive Monica Sabolo who published The clandestine life (ed. Gallimard), a book in which she explores the complexity of beings, the question of violence and the possibility of forgiveness. Finally, the last guest will be Anthony Passeron for sleeping children (ed. Globe), a novel about the loneliness of families at a time when AIDS is totally ignored.
The end of a great adventure for François Busnel
After 14 years of good and loyal service, 500 programs and more than 2000 guests, François Busnel passed the torch of La Grande bookstore on July 6th. “At 53, I want new challenges: making films and series, writing and shooting documentaries, producing new talents”confided the host, indicating however that he did not leave the show completely because he remains producer of the program which he created in 2008: “Every Wednesday evening, I will be in control. I’m not giving up on the baby.”
