We couldn’t let the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro leave our lab so easily. So we put the cover back. This time, it is its washing performance that is scrutinized.

How the pricing table works

The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro is the latest robot vacuum to pass through the hands of our experts. If it has obviously undergone a battery of tests relating to its suction performance, Les Nums have decided to prolong the pleasure.

We install the robot’s water tank, hanging a moistened wipe on it. We first do a test and are surprised by the Yeedi’s washing system: the vibrations of its mop are clearly visible to the naked eye.

But let’s get down to business. The floor of our laboratory is now littered with different substances: soda, oil, carbon black and lipstick. After letting the stains dry, the Yeedi comes into play. We adjust the water flow so that it is set to the maximum. The robot begins the washing session, criss-crosses the test area and passes several times over the different stains before returning to its base.

It is the oil that disappears the fastest, even if a veil remains on the floor. Unsurprisingly, the lipstick remains clearly visible; one of the three product points is even almost intact at the end of the test. The carbon black, on the other hand, fades, but leaves large streaks after the passage of the robot. Surprisingly, it is the soda that gives Yeedi the most difficulty. While most devices easily handle all three of these tasks, the Vac 2 Pro goes over them multiple times without eliminating them. We finally wonder if the mop touches the ground correctly, but more fear than harm: the ground ends up shining in this precise place.

On the left, before cleaning; right, after cleaning.

On the left, before cleaning; right, after cleaning.

The washing performance of the Yeedi is therefore mixed. It manages to remove the less stubborn stains (oil and soda), but takes a long time to achieve its goal. On a daily basis, it therefore appears to be a valuable aid for spacing out washing sessions, but it in no way replaces deep cleaning.
