Lab Zero Games: canceled projects revealed with the legal proceedings affecting the studio

A glance at the documents filed in the Los Angeles court is enough to know that at the origin of the legal proceedings, we find the complaint of Mariel Cartwright, animator and artistic director, and Francesca Esquenazi, producer, at the against Lab Zero Games. If they have resigned for one, and been thanked for the other, it is their dismissal from the management board of the company which is at the origin of what they consider to be unfair dismissal. It would also seem that the shares of the capital of the studio, of which Mike Z had temporarily taken full control by mutual agreement with the employees, should have been partly sold to the staff, without this being the case in the end. For lack of access to the original complaint, it is impossible for us to determine, with the only document at our disposal, written by Michael Zaimont’s lawyer, the exact nature of the facts reported by the two complainants. What we do know, however, is that he responded to these legal proceedings by suing the two former employees, whom he accuses of having conspired to oust him from his post as director, and degraded relations contracts with the studio’s commercial partners, while denying the sexual harassment of which he is accused.
