Lady Diana: touching photos of the princess resurface

Precious memories. On August 31, 1997, Lady Diana lost her life in a tragic car accident under the Pont de l’Alma in Paris. Twenty-six years after his death, royal photographers decided to pay tribute to him by organizing a unique exhibition at St Katharine Docks in London, to be discovered from this Saturday, May 25, as reported The Daily Mail. Through a series of photos, Anwar Hussein and his son Samir retrace the significant moments in the life of the mother of Princes William and Harry as well as her numerous charitable trips. Among these many photos is that of the Princess of Hearts tenderly cradling a young boy suffering from cancer during a stay in Pakistan. “This one is probably my favorite”confided the 86-year-old photographer, very moved, to the British tabloid.

Another photo, immortalized by Anwar Hussein, demonstrates the complicity between the ex-wife of Charles III and his two sons. Dressed in a yellow jumpsuit, Diana can be seen giving all her attention to young boys during their vacation in Palma in 1987. Other photos that have become iconic will also be on display. On February 11, 1992, Jane Fellowes’ sister posed in front of the Taj Mahal, symbol of eternal love. The icing on the cake, the public will also be able to admire the photo of Lady Di, dressed in the famous “Revenge Dress”, on June 29, 1994 at the Serpentine Gallery in London, two years after the announcement of her separation from Prince Charles. “I am delighted that the images captured, along with those of my sons, will return to London to recognize and commemorate such a remarkable woman and her sons”explained Anwar Hussein to the Sun. And to add: “There are so many memories of our two families connecting and creating a special relationship, which I am happy to be able to present in such a unique way through the exhibition.” An event that Diana’s loyal fans will certainly not miss…

Lady Diana: this adorable photo revealed by her brother, Charles Spencer

Very close to his sister Diana, Charles Spencer continues to honor her memory on social networks. Regularly, the 60-year-old writer shares tender photos of his eldest on his Instagram account. This was particularly the case on April 3. Digging back into family albums, Kitty Spencer’s father discovered a photo of him and Diana when they were just children. In their school uniforms, they smile shyly in front of the camera. “My first day at school, September 1968: my father photographed my sister Diana and me just before driving us to Silfield, a beautiful primary school in King’s Lynn, Norfolk”, he wrote in the caption, with a certain nostalgia. And to continue: “I stayed there until 1972, when I left for the place I call – in my memoirs – a very private school.” Moments that remain forever engraved in his memory.
