Lady Gaga can soon finally show songs from her "Chromatica" album live. She will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga (34) will finally be able to present her album "Chromatica", which was released at the end of May, live. As the pop diva herself announced, she will appear as a music act at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. A tour planned for July was postponed to 2021 due to the corona pandemic.

"I was at home and dreamed of 'Chromatica' and now it's finally time for the first live performance," the musician writes about a video on Instagram. In it you can see the 34-year-old in a pink bathrobe, matching pink bath slippers and a huge pink headdress mask that is reminiscent of a grasshopper.

Live performances sometimes without an audience

In addition to Lady Gaga, the MTV VMAs, which have been awarded since 1984, include the South Korean boy group sensation BTS ("Boy With Luv"), soul singer The Weeknd (30), US rapper Doja Cat (24) and reggaeton -Star J Balvin (35) on. Alongside Ariana Grande (27), Lady Gaga can have the greatest hopes of winning a "Moonman" – the nickname of the coveted trophy. Both artists enter the race with nine nominations each. "No Time To Die" singer Billie Eilish (18) and The Weeknd each have six chances to win.
