Laetitia Casta: return on her love story with Louis Garrel: Current Woman The MAG

Laetitia Casta and Louis Garrel are one of the most glamorous couples in French cinema. The 42-year-old actress met her husband in 2015, at a time when she didn’t want to engage with a man. “They don’t marry me like that. I’m romantic. Getting married is growing old together. At the moment, it’s not on the agenda,” had declared the actress in the columns of Paris Match. But Laetitia Casta quickly changed her mind … Very in love, they married two years later, in 2017, in the small Corsican village of Lumio. Asked about it in the columns of the magazine It in 2019 Laetitia Casta explained that she had always thought “that it was necessary to get married late”. The famous model lived a happy childhood in Pont-Audemer, in Normandy, with his parents Dominique Casta and Line Blin, but marriage has always inexplicably inspired her with awe : “In reality, I have always been afraid of marriage, even though my parents had a happy union.”

The actress ended up going beyond her fears and preconceptions to give herself a chance to be happy with the man she had chosen. “It’s a matter of insurance. I took a lot of insurance. And then, you know what, it’s just fools who don’t change their minds,” she had assured. Laetitia Casta was therefore able to live, on June 10, 2017, a magical day alongside the one she loves, and her three children: Sahteene, born in 20012 from her union with photographer Stéphane Sednaoui, as well as Orlando and Athena , born from her love for Italian actor Stefano Accorsi, with whom she spent ten long years.

“I was scared…”

Laetitia Casta and Louis Garrel exercise the same profession, and their love for comedy brings them together. The two actors have also shared the poster of The Faithful Man, a film directed by Louis Garrel. As for marriage, Laetitia Casta had some apprehensions before agreeing to embark on this project: “I was afraid that working with Louis would damage our relationship. For me, life is more important, more precious than that”, she said in the columns of Grazia in 2019. Fortunately, everything had gone for the best during the shooting: “I was wrong, because it is very beautiful to make films with the person you love. We are here for the same thing, we rediscover each other. “
