(Boursier.com) — Lagardere announces the signature, on February 18, 2022, by Lagardère Travel Retail, of an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Creative Table Holdings ltd, based in the United Arab Emirates, giving Lagardère Travel Retail control of the company. Creative Table Holdings ltd has successfully developed a Dubai airport catering offering for many years and has a portfolio of award-winning food and beverage brands (local and healthy concepts), complementary to that of Lagardère Travel Retail.
This acquisition will enable Lagardère Travel Retail to benefit from being anchored in one of the most renowned airline hubs in the world and opens up new development prospects for it at Dubai airport.
The price of the operation was set at 74 ME.
The completion of this acquisition, subject to the approval of the competent competition authorities and other customary conditions, should take place during the first quarter of 2022.
