After years of effort, her wish has finally come true: Lance Bass and husband Michael Turchin become fathers.

Lance Bass (42), former singer in boy band NSYNC, is going to have twins. He has that in common with husband Michael Turchin (34) the US magazine “People” confirmed. “It’s been a long journey,” said Bass in an interview. A surrogate mother lost her twins last year. “It’s very sad when this dream suddenly bursts.”

When a surrogate mother got pregnant again, the couple didn’t want to get too euphoric. “Because of what we’ve been through the past four years, we’ve been very careful. We were so scared because we didn’t want to go through the pain of losing her again. We didn’t tell our friends and family about it until week nine “, explains Turchin in an interview. The couple, who have been married since 2014, have always dreamed of having a family. “We’ve been together for ten years. We always knew that if we wanted to start a family, we wanted twins because Michael is a twin,” reveals Bass.

The two want to deal openly with the subject of surrogacy in order to encourage other homosexual couples, explains the musician. “We want to show that if you want to start a family, do it. It will be unbelievable.” The couple are expecting a boy and a girl. According to the calculated date of birth, the twins will be born in early November.
