Since its announcement to much fanfare by ToT last year, Spear Hard caused a lot of ink to flow. The series, promoted by many transmedia content including a new class on Dofus, is finally showing itself completely, starting today.
Ankama unveils Lance Dur on its Launcher and Allskreen
The Ankama series, after a few delays, is now available on ADN (and not the Launcher). In addition to the qualities specific to the project on which we will not dwell, the more or less clear objective is to promote both the animated production and the streaming platform. A link, under the name of Media Participation, seems to have been drawn to strengthen the relationship. Do not panic, this company has held shares in Ankama for a long time, acting as a historical partner. Since 2022, she has also been present at ADN (following her separation from Crunchyroll).
Anyway, Lance Dur will be available from 7:30 p.m. in the form of a first 10-minute episode. 6 others will then follow the following weeks. A shorter format but one that makes sense, season 4 of Wakfu should land by 2024. The special episode Oropo is also scheduled for the end of 2023.

Beyond this main event, webtoons will be accessible as publications are published, in particular via a new mobile application parallel to the existing one (Krosmoz): Allskreen. The Ankama Launcher will benefit from it at the same time. For Ankama, it’s about getting away from its favorite universe. The two projects coexist, with on the one hand the universe of Dofus/Wakfu/Waven in editions/VOD, and on the other more open horizons, possibly with other publishers.
The wallet is shared between applications and you can freely switch from one to another. As a reminder, it is possible to obtain credits in order to unlock chapters for specific works. Note, however, that some productions will be exclusive, such as VODs at Krosmoz and some webtoons at Allskreen.
