Great confusion as to his cause of death

What did Lance Reddick die of? After the death certificate lists heart disease as the cause of death, his lawyer reacts immediately.
“The Wire” and “John Wick” star Lance Reddick died unexpectedly in mid-March at the age of 60. Initially, the exact circumstances of death were not disclosed. But the first reports said it was a natural death. Now the actual cause has been revealed by a report by the US portal “TMZ”. – and immediately denied by his management.
First, TMZ released Reddick’s official death certificate. It reads that he died as a result of a disease of his coronary arteries. That is the immediate cause of death. But when asked by “People” magazine, his lawyer James Hornstein said: “The coroner’s testimony on the death certificate is not the result of an autopsy. Lance was not autopsied. To my knowledge, no medical examination of Lance during his lifetime indicated such a condition.” Did the doctor just make up the cause of death?

According to Hornstein, Lance was “the most physically fit person I have ever known”. He worked on himself every day at his home gym, including extensive cardio training. His diet was also exemplary. Therefore, the details on the death certificate are completely incompatible with his lifestyle. Also on behalf of his surviving wife Stephanie Reddick, the lawyer stated that the information on the death certificate had not been confirmed and did not match the facts known to the family.
