Language change: bet that you rarely use these 16 words anymore

Grandma or Grandpa would probably have said a lot of things differently – and probably not in English or another language! Instead of the “stulle”, most people say “I’ll just make myself a sandwich” or “That was a real learning for me” when you have learned a lesson from an event. And “coffee to go” and “pasta” are also being used more and more frequently. This form of language change is now not uncommon, but it still doesn’t hurt to remember the German and original terms again. Bet when you’ve clicked through all the words you’ll come up with many more. Have fun smiling and pondering.
