Laptops: Samsung launches three Galaxy Book 4 models

Samsung announces the arrival on the market of three new GalaxyBooks, equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors.

The Galaxy Book 4 range consists of three models:

  • The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, which focuses on content creation with big graphics performance
  • The Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, which features a 360-degree rotating screen
  • The Galaxy Book 4 Pro, an ultraportable computer that focuses on portability

All devices in the range use Intel Core Ultra 9/7/5 processors, Dynamic Amoled 2X Touch Display. Core Ultra processors use an NPU (Neural Network Processing Unit) to accelerate artificial intelligence calculations.

Lots of new features

These laptops also feature Samsung Studio, video editing software that allows Galaxy smartphones, tablets and laptops to work together, Quick Share, file sharing software, and Second Screen, a feature that allows the tablet to be used as a an extended monitor.

Note that the Microsoft Link with Windows application should also be present in these laptops. This functionality should allow you to use your smartphone as a computer webcam. According to Samsung, this feature works on all Galaxy phones with One UI 1.0 or later (Android 9.0 or later), meaning a large number of Samsung phones are compatible.

It’s also worth noting that the Galaxy Book 4s come with a new feature that allows users to use Link to Windows to find, read, send, or even summarize text messages from their phone on their computer, similar to Apple’s all-in-one ecosystem.
