The first images of the animated series adapted from the video games “Tom Raider” were revealed last night by Netflix.
As its name suggests, Drop 01 released images last night of some of the most anticipated Netflix animated productions of the coming months (drop means to let go in English). This new promotional event organized by the platform also made it possible to preview the first episodes of the new series Castlevania: Nocturne.
Announced for a long time, the Tomb Raider series has revealed a first teaser. This new adaptation of the adventures of Lara Croft will see Hayley Atwell (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning) lend her voice to the character. The British actress succeeds Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander in the role.
Another video game loved by fans will also become a Netflix animated series, since the platform has unveiled a short teaser of its adaptation of the Devil May Cry saga.
Made up of five episodes, this action saga follows the adventures in a fantasy world of a private detective specializing in hunting demons, armed with two pistols and a sword with magical powers.
In addition to images from the third season of the Sonic Prime cartoon, Netflix also lifted the veil on its ambitious series Blue Eye Samurai, the story of a half-blood swordsman seeking revenge during the Edo era in Japan .
This animated series is co-written by Michael Green (the screenwriter of Logan and Blade Runner 2029) and the creator of the program, Amber Noizumi.
Finally, Netflix unveiled the trailer for its new series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, which subscribers to the platform will be able to discover from October 19.
This program taking place in a dystopian universe features a super-soldier at the head of a team of mercenaries, ready to do anything to fight the propaganda and corruption that govern their world.
