Lara Fabian: confined, she pays a vibrant tribute to her deceased mother: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Since the announcement of the President of the Republic urging the French to stay at home because of the coronavirus, the streets of France and Navarre are gradually deserted. If some live this period of confinement with anguish pegged to the body, especially those who put their lives at risk every day to continue to turn the country and care for the population, others see this global break time as an opportunity to be introspective. This is the case of Lara Fabian, very active on social networks, who from his home in Quebec invited his fans to "transform it as a positive test that teaches". Even if sometimes, certain moments can be more difficult than others.

Pain still very sharp

On March 30, 2020, the singer posted a photo of a tender moment with her mom, Maria Luisa Serio, died of a neurodegenerative disease a year ago. "One year already, she writes. I was landing in Brussels to say one last goodbye …". A tragedy for the coach of The Voice whose pain remained intact. She had burst into tears in February 2020 in 50min Inside, at the sight of the images of her parents who came to surprise her in song on a famous television set. The Quebecer had dedicated a song to her, Oblivion, in his album My life in yours, released in 2015. In order not to be overwhelmed by grief, Lara Fabian has been creating and composing a lot since the start of confinement. She wrote the title Our hearts at the window, for which she asked internet users to make the clip. The title receipts will be paid directly to the caregivers.
