The playoffs begin in Sweden for Lara Heini. The Nati keeper has big plans.

Lara Heini was recently recognized for the second time by the Swedish trade magazine Innebandymagazinet Voted best floorball goalkeeper. And the nomination for the All-Star team at the last World Cup in December is still fresh. However, the soon-to-be 30-year-old from Grisons would have much preferred collecting medals and trophies recently rather than this recognition. After winning the 2023 Cup with her club Pixbo, she would like to finally win the championship title in Sweden.

Heini has no doubt that second-placed Pixbo will reach the big final. Their wish: to defeat “feared opponents” and qualifying winner Thorengruppen after many narrow defeats. As in Switzerland, the championship title is decided in a super final.

Final in front of 20,000 fans?

Special this year: This year the game will take place in the Friends Arena, the home of the national soccer team. 20,000 fans are expected to be there, which would be a world record. «I’m even more sure than last year that it will work. Because it will play into our hands that we don’t go where we have already lost so many times.”
