Lara Mandoki: Hannelore Elsner was a "generous woman"

Hannelore Elsner (1942-2019) died on April 21, 2019 at the age of 76 in a clinic in Munich. For many people, the news came as a surprise, especially because the Bavarian actress did a lot until the end. In autumn 2018, for example, the fictional and satirical biopic "The Great Rudolph" ran in the first.

Elsner played Else Moshammer, the mother of Munich fashion designer Rudolph Moshammer, who was murdered in 2005 (1940-2005). The filming took place in July and August 2017 in Munich and Prague. Lara Mandoki (born 1989, "Erzgebirge Crime") was also in the cast at the time. She played beauty salon assistant Dolly. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, the Munich actress tells what she has learned from her colleague Elsner.

"I met her as a generous woman"

"I learned a lot from her. Speaking, looking or permeability alone. Her radiance, her discipline, her focus, her attitude and much more," summarizes Mandoki. When filming the 'Great Rudolph', she actually "watched the whole time" when Elsner was in front of the camera. "She was just a breathtakingly great actress. And I personally met her as a very uncomplicated and generous woman," she enthuses.

"It is an insane loss that she is no longer there. She was so fit and I never thought it would happen so quickly," recalls Mandoki. "I am very grateful that I was able to gain this experience with her."

The last new film with Hannelore Elsner is called "Long live the Queen". The tragicomedy runs on April 29 at 8:15 p.m. in the first. Lara Mandoki will soon be seen in the novel "The Song of the Dead Girls" as journalist Stefanie "Mütze" Schneider.
