According to the first police reports, there was another bomb threat on Thursday morning. The details are not yet known. In any case, the students were immediately taken to safety. Around 1,500 students are in the large BORG area on Hubertusstrasse in Klagenfurt. Adjacent numerous shops, from Hofer to Fressnapf. In the morning, students found a bomb threat in the toilet – written on the wall. The director pressed the alarm button. The students were immediately evacuated and some are now waiting on the sports field until the all-clear can be given. “We take the situation very seriously,” said police spokesman Mario Nemetz. Police patrols, the Cobra task force, explosives specialists from the defusing service and a sniffer dog are on duty and are searching all school buildings. The area around the school grounds has been cordoned off. The large-scale operation also caused a stir among shoppers in the area. No one is allowed near the school grounds until the all-clear. Just two days ago, on Tuesday, a bomb threat written on a piece of paper was found in the St. Veit vocational school. The police have not yet confirmed whether a copycat is assumed. Nevertheless, the incident must be taken seriously and the situation must be checked carefully, according to the emergency services.
