Released in cinemas in 2011, the film Largo Winch 2worn by Tomer Sisley and Sharon Stonewill be rebroadcast on Sunday April 17, 2022, from 9:05 p.m. on TF1 film series. Directed by Jérôme Sallethis feature film is the sequel to the first opus of the adventures of the character of Largo Winch, who was born on the big screen in 2008. Propelled to the head of Group W after the death of his adoptive father, Largo Winch, played by Tomer Sisley, decides to put it up for sale, to everyone’s surprise, in order to create an ambitious humanitarian foundation. But on the day of the signing, he finds himself accused of crimes against humanity by a mysterious witness. To prove his innocence, Largo Winch must return to the traces of his past life, in the heart of the Burmese jungle.
Unfortunately for production, the shooting of this feature film was bereaved by the death of the actor Laurent Terzieff, who died shortly after the end of the shooting. The latter interprets the role of Alexandre Jung in Largo Winch 2. “If there is one thing that I found extremely touching about him it was his immense open-mindedness, in addition to being a brilliant person and an immense actor. If he accepted Wide Winch 2, unlikely eventuality, it is because it amused him. (…) And I remember very well the first thing he said to me on the phone: ‘I still have a problem: I’m not sure I can play this role. It’s complicated for me. It wasn’t a posturing, he was really sincere and in doubt. It shows his humility“, had declared Jérôme Salle in order to pay tribute to him.
Tomer Sisley on Largo Winch 2: “I had to practice a lot”
For the record, Tomer Sisley did all of his stunts himself during filming. He revealed that it required special training for him. “The physical preparation was violent for me, because the day after the last day of shooting the first film, I had a skiing accident and I had to restart the machine. Before being able to do stunts again, I had to train a lot. About 4-5 times a week, with lots of weight training and other sports (…). Especially for moving and sweating. Each session lasted between 2 and 3 hours.“, had explained the actor, who has played for a few years the eponymous hero of the series Balthazar on TF1.
