Before the turn of the year, Larry King was admitted to a US hospital with a corona infection, reports US media.

The legendary US talk show host Larry King (87, "How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere") has apparently been infected with the corona virus. The US media report unanimously. According to CNN, which cites a family source, King was hospitalized in Los Angeles more than a week ago.

He is a risk patient

Cannon (20), Chance (21) and Larry (59), the 87-year-old's children, are currently said to be unable to visit him due to safety precautions. King is considered a risk patient – not only because of his old age, but also because of previous illnesses.

Among other things, he suffers from type 2 diabetes, had five bypass operations after a severe heart attack in 1987 and was in a coma for several weeks after a stroke in early 2019, as he himself later explained. In 2017, the talk show host also diagnosed lung cancer, which it claims to have been successfully fought.
