The legendary US talk show host Larry King (1933-2021) died on Saturday morning at Cedars-Sinau Medical Center in Los Angeles. The sad news was on his Twitter account announced. The US star was 87 years old.
At the end of last year, he was infected with the corona virus. The US media reported unanimously earlier this year. According to "CNN" King was hospitalized in Los Angeles at the time. A day later, the NBC News reported that he had been able to leave the clinic after a total of ten days.
For 63 years he has conducted thousands of interviews with presidents and celebrities on radio, television and digital media and has received countless awards for his work, King's production company Ora Media summarizes in its statement.
Details of the funeral and memorial service would be announced later in consultation with Larry King's family. The family asked for privacy. Larry King was married for eight and has three of his five children.
