The Freiburg economist Lars P. Feld becomes a personal advisor to the Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP). Feld confirmed a corresponding request on Sunday Report from the “Frankfurter Allgemeine”. Feld explained that it was a voluntary activity, insofar as it was a part-time job like his (existing) position on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Ministry of Finance. He is only closer to the minister than the advisory board. The latter has over 30 members. The Ministry of Finance left an inquiry unanswered.
