Last generation – Porsche Panamera: A lot is new, but something is missing

Cockpit significantly modernized
Future owners or their chauffeurs will have to retrain. The clunky dial knob on the center console has had its day. The dual clutch automatic is now operated within finger reach behind the steering wheel. The modern 12.6-inch display is slightly curved; as usual, the digital tachometer is in the center and reveals the speed with numbers in the middle. The familiar middle 10.7-inch display provides information about the navigation system and more. Another screen can be ordered for the passenger side. As with the new Cayenne, the co-pilot then has his own command center, can choose a destination, surf the net, or maybe just watch a film. A special film blocks the driver’s view.
