(CercleFinance.com) – Latécoère announces that the acquisition of the Figeac Aéro site in Hermosillo in Mexico has been finalized, following the obtaining of the IMMEX authorization (an instrument which allows the temporary importation of goods used in an industrial process without pay duty).
“This investment is part of Latécoère’s overall strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of its activities in North and South America, and particularly within the aerostructures market,” says the aeronautical equipment manufacturer.
For its part, Figeac Aéro is already considering devoting part of the net sale price to the start-up of a mechanical parts machining unit in Chihuahua in order to better meet the needs of its North American customers.
