The Galaxy Z Flip 5, the fifth entry in the manufacturer’s clamshell foldables, is currently available from Media Markt for 780.67 euros in graphite and with 256 gigabytes of internal memory.

In our test, we positively note that Samsung is consistently developing the Flip series. With the 3.4-inch external display, you can now use more widgets and some third-party apps such as YouTube, Google Maps or WhatsApp without opening the phone. According to our test, the technology is at the level of the manufacturer’s conventional flagship series, but the Galaxy Z Flip 5 gets warm quickly, which leads to a loss of performance under load.

The battery life is rather average; after a day of use you will probably have to recharge it. The camera reminds us of the level that the upper middle class achieves. With an update you also have access to Galaxy AI with the Galaxy Z Flip 5. If you like the form factor and don’t constantly challenge the processor, you can still be happy with the smartphone.

The compact Galaxy Z Flip 5 from Samsung has a 3.4-inch front display and 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy from the Galaxy S23 works inside. Other retailers are close to Media Markt, but they can’t quite match this offer.
