Laura Papendick changes from Sport1 to RTL. There, the 32-year-old will mainly present the Europa League and Conference League.
From summer 2021, RTL will have the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League in its program. The moderation team is now being strengthened with sports journalist Laura Papendick (32). The 32-year-old will present the two soccer competitions on RTL and NITRO, among other things. The RTL media group announced.
Stephan Schmitter, Managing Director of RTL NEWS, says about the new addition: “Laura Papendick is a great sports presenter with enormous expertise and a strong presence. We are very pleased that she will be working for us in the future and enriching our sports coverage.”
Papendick is looking forward to her new role: “Being able to present the UEFA Europa League to an audience of millions as a presenter on RTL and NITRO is a great challenge. I am excited to see what awaits me,” said the presenter.
Laura Papendick studied sports journalism in Cologne. From 2015 she worked as a reporter for Sky Germany. In 2016, she moved up to the moderation team of Sky Sport News HD. She has been moderating at Sport1 since 2019.
