Former participant of season 5 of Married at first sight, Laura shared the major problem of the show, according to her, during a question and answer session on her Instagram account, this Thursday, July 6.
It’s a couple that lasts. In 2021, they had left their romantic destiny in the hands of the experts by participating in the show Married at first sightbroadcast on M6. Since their meeting during the program which was love at first sight, Laure and Matthieu live the perfect love. Since then, the two lovers are still together and are the only ones in their edition not to have divorced.
They are even became the proud parents of a baby girl in August 2021. “We are happy to introduce you to our little Lya. Everything went very well. A lot of emotions“, had written Laure on Instagram. A baby who had turned their daily lives upside down. “We tried to be parents while keeping in mind the idea of our coupleexplained Mathieu on Instagram. Everything was really very fast.” For her part, Laure had explained that they still had nice threesome projects. The two lovebirds are therefore one of the few couples on the show to be still married following the show. And, if many of the participants finally divorced, Laure explains it for a single reason that she regrets.

“Very complicated to manage”
During a question and answer session on Instagram, this Thursday, July 6, the young mother returned to the difficulties she encountered after the show. She mentioned in particular the program’s biggest problem that contestants have to deal with after it airs. “I regret the lack of follow-up. This experience is a real change, which is too often taken lightly. These are real marriages with (normally real engagements). Beyond that, you have all the psychological aspect to take into account”.
Laura then mentioned the sudden notoriety that comes with the airing of the show. A notoriety that she did not expect. “I did not expect such a media impact and, at first, it is even very complicated to manage”, she admitted. Before concluding : “I think a lot of couples break up because of that. I could talk about it for hours so much there is to say”. Despite these negative points, Laure and Matthieu seem to have found it well to live together for many more years.
