In September 2023, he landed on BFMTV to host a current affairs show, trying to make his money there. But after a few months, Laurent Ruquier announced his departure, in a message published on his Instagram account, in December 2023. “I decided not to continue the adventure started at the end of September on BFMTV”he wrote, acknowledging that he had not managed to create a meeting with viewers.
A long-standing enmity
