Laurent Ruquier in cold with Léa Salamé? This tackle almost went unnoticed live in TPMP

Invited to the Touche set not at my post by Cyril Hanouna on Tuesday August 30, 2022, Laurent Ruquier had fun sending a small tackle to his former sidekick Léa Salamé live on C8.

Cyril Hanouna had invited Michel Sardou as godfather for his return to the helm of a new season of Do not touch My TV Monday, August 29, 2022 on C8. The presenter also welcomed one of his fellow presenters to his set the next day. Laurent Ruquier was invited to join the table of TPMP Tuesday, August 30, 2022 alongside the columnists. The essential figure of France 2 notably mentioned his future projects on the public service this season, while he recently abandoned the presentation of the Saturday box in the 2nd part of the evening on the 2nd channel, leaving his place to his former sidekick Lea Salame.

For memory, Laurent Ruquier had taken over from Thierry Ardisson at the head of this famous box on France 2 in 2006. After the cult show Everybody talks about it has officially stopped, the presenter had launched a new weekly meeting called We are not in bed. Having marked the history of French television for 14 years, this program was replaced in 2020 by a new show called We are liveand still presented by Laurent Ruquier. At the end of the first season, which was marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, Léa Salamé, who was one of the host’s former polemicists in We are not in bed, joined the program as a co-presenter.

Léa Salamé: Laurent Ruquier once again very teasing towards his former polemicist

However, Laurent Ruquier preferred to stop the show after a single season alongside the journalist. Having already expressed his frustration on several occasions at having to share the antenna with Léa Salamé, the presenter had fun sending him a small pike during its passage through Do not touch My TV. It all happened when Cyril Hanouna recalled that several former Laurent Ruquier polemicists, such as Éric Zemmour, turned to politics. “It’s still better that they play politics rather than end up replacing the main host in a show!“, then launched the host with a laugh, thus alluding to his former sidekick in We are live.
