Halo affected by Microsoft layoffs
You probably won’t miss it, but in recent weeks, many big tech companies have decided to clean up their ranks. Microsoft is concerned, with the scheduled departure of no less than 10,000 employees, including in its gaming branches. The 343 Industries studio, and in particular the team behind theHalo Infiniteseems particularly concerned.
In an e-mail sent to the teams, studio boss Pierre Hintze said: “ We have made the difficult decision to restructure elements of our team, which means certain roles are being eliminated. But in an attempt to reassure fans, a tweet stating that ” 343 Industry will continue to develop Halo both now and in the future has since been posted. The license is therefore not going anywhere at the moment, but it will probably be necessary to be a little more patient than expected to find out what the future of Halo will be done.
