(CercleFinance.com) – LDC publishes cumulative turnover for the first nine months of its 2023-24 financial year, up 7.7% to 4.55 billion euros (-1.1% in volume). At constant scope and exchange rates, it increased by 4.8%, despite volumes down 1.4%.
In an environment of persistent tensions on purchasing power, it continued to reduce prices in the poultry division in relation to the fall in the price of raw materials and relaunched its promotional efforts, so as to revive its growth in volumes.
Given that the end-of-year celebrations were generally in line with expectations, the agri-food group confirms its annual ambition to exceed six billion euros in turnover associated with a current operating profit of more than 350 million.
