2024 - Le Flambeau: who are the newcomers to the series?

The sequel to the cult series La Flamme, entitled Le Flambeau, will be launched on Canal+ on Monday March 23, 2022 in prime time. On this occasion, Télé Star reveals the list of actors who have joined the cast of this 2nd season.

After having enjoyed immense success on the air of Canal+, series The flame will be back for a sequel, titled The torch, Monday, May 23, 2022 in prime time. During the first season, the writers had fun parody the cult reality show The Bachelorwhich was broadcast in France on M6. For this 2nd season, the authors of Torch have attacked one of the most emblematic programs of TF1: Koh Lanta. Having played the leading role of The flameJonathan Cohen will be back in The torchalways playing the same character.

“He arrives on the island in a suit and tie, thinking again of being on a show where he will be able to find love“, specifies the actor in the presentation file of the series. Jonathan Cohen will not be the only member of the cast of The flame to resume his role in The torch. Leila Bekhti, Adele Exarchopoulos, Camille Chamoux, Geraldine Nakache and Ana Girardot will all be present in the cast of this new season. This will also be the case for Pierre Niney and Ramzy Bédia. In parallel, The torch will welcome new actors, who will all play colorful roles. Jérôme Commandeur will play the presenter of the show The torch, as Vincent Dedienne had done in The flame.

Le Flambeau: Gérard Darmon, Kad Merad and Jonathan Lambert in the cast

Gérard Darmon will lend his features to the character of Philippe, described as being a jungle specialist. Jonathan Lambert will play the role of Hervé, a child from Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Kad Merad will slip into the skin of Patrice, says Patoche, a bodega manager. Natacha Lindinger will play the role of Carole, a competitor. Laura Felpin will play the character of Annick, a circus artist. The Youtuber Mister V will lend his features to William, an influencer. Sébastien Chassagne will play the role of Soso, a bubble child, while Thomas Scimeca will play the character of Yvan, a conspirator. It remains to be seen now whether the cast of Torch will live up to that of The flame at the audience level.
